4/12/2024 0 Comments Whatsapp desktop app windows 7So I tried what I know how to do, which is limit the number of cores used and lower the priority of it through the task manager. so from looking a bit into what's happening when I'm opening a file/sticker in the task manager, I got to the conclusion that if I could limit WhatsApp's usage of the CPU I would be able to make that not affect other apps I'm using or the system at all. It was getting super annoying this bug, so I started searching on the internet and found no solution. To anyone who wanna know how I got the idea: Keep in mind this may make the processing of the images a bit slower, but it doesn't freeze the system anymore so I'm happy with it.Īnd I don't know if it'll work for everyone, but it worked for me. If it still lags, you may want to limit the number of cores it uses in the "Set affinity" window you find the same place you found the "Set priority" one.
